Inaugural Pre-Concert Talk with Terence Blanchard

As part of the Jazz Heritage Center's celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month, the JHC is launching a new jazz discussion series in partnership with Yoshi's Jazz Club.

For the kick off of this new effort on Wednesday, April 14th (6PM-7PM), the JHC is pleased to announce that
Grammy-winning trumpeter and composer Terence Blanchard will hold an intimate pre-concert talk in the JHC Media and Education Center (1330 Fillmore St., next to Yoshi's Box Office)

A New Orleans native, Blanchard will share with us the inspiration and images behind his recent albums, "A Tale of God's Will" and "Choices", and share his creative process in scoring over 50 films, including Spike Lee's "When The Levees Broke" and "Mo' Better Blues".
